Arthur M. Mallum                           (From the collection of Vivian 
Norby Andersen)

	WAKEFIELD, Neb. – Arthur M. Mallum, 80, of Wakefield died Sunday in a 
care center in Wakefield.  
		
	Mr. Mallum was born Jan. 18, 1903, in Soldier, Iowa.  He married 
Sylvia Smith July 3, 1924, in Alton, Iowa.
	He was a maintenance worker for the city of Wakefield.
	Survivors include his wife; three sons; a daughterof Edgewood, Md.; 11 
grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
