	Glenn Martindale, Onawa, Iowa, formerly of Turin, died Wednesday, May 
17, 1989, in Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa. 
	He was born August 14, 1905, at Castana, Iowa, the son of Wesley and 
Sarah (Goodall) Martindale.    On April 28, 1929, he married Ethel Beeney in 
Peoria, Ill.  
	Survivors include his wife, Ethel, of Onawa, three sons, Glenn, Jr., 
of Fremont, Neb., Eugene of Turin and Richard of Papillion, Neb., a daughter, 
Marlene Adams of Omaha, two sisters, Frances Baker of Sioux City and Ina 
Phoebe Smith of Mapleton, twelve grandchildren and nineteen great 
grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Leo, Merrill, 
and Clemens and two sisters, Viola McCleery and Alma Smith.
