HARRIET MATHIASEN               (From the collection of Vivian Norby Andersen)

	Harriet Bearce Mathiasen, 77, resident of Onawa, Iowa, passed away at 
her home on March 29, 1982.
	She was born August 28, 1904, at Onawa, Iowa to Arthur Bearce and Edna 
Ropes Bearce.  On April 1, 1926, she was united in marriage with Clarence 
Mathiasen at Logan, Iowa.  
	Survivors include her husband, Clarence, one daughter of Denver, 
Colo., one brother, Robert of Whiting, two granddaughters, and three step 
grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Harold, 
Roy, and Charles.
