CONRAD
MATHISON	                   (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Conrad M. Mathison, 76, Moorhead, Iowa, passed away March 4, 1981, at 
the Dunlap Iowa nursing home of a long illness.
	He was born July 17, 1904, near Soldier, Iowa, to Matthew C. and Laura 
Hanson Mathison.  On May 9, 1931, he was united in marriage with Clara Crews 
at Moorhead.  
	
	Survivors include the widow, two sons; three daughters; three sisters, 
Mrs. Gordon (Bertha) Mann and Mrs. James (Nadine) Hartigan, both of Ute and 
Mrs. Lynn (Mabel) Mann of Onawa; two brothers, Harold of Ute and Howard of 
Omaha, eight grandchildren and three great grandsons.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Kenneth, and one 
sister, Mrs. Vernon (Madeline) Christensen.
