      Harold "Mac" McCord, 79, of Sloan died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003, at 
Pleasant View Care Center in Whiting, Iowa.
       Mr. McCordwas born Feb. 12, 1923, in Whiting, the son of Roy and Pearl 
(Willett) McCord. 
        Survivors include his wife, Betty of Sioux City; three sisters, Betty 
Zamora of Albuquerque, N.M., Helen Martin of Boulder, Colo., and Mary Smith of 
Rogers, Ark.; a brother, Lee Roy McCord of Nashua, N.H.; and numerous nieces 
and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Evelyn Clay and Lucy 
Schuller; and a brother, John.
