Elsie C. McFarland						1993

	Elsie McFarland died Monday, February 15, 1993, in Whiting, Iowa.
	Elsie Cecil Hennum was born February 9, 1909, at Maple Landing (Monona 
County), Iowa, the only child of James G. and Alma (Alcock) Hennum.  
	She married Archie E. McFarland June 15, 1930,  in Sloan, Iowa.  
Archie died June 25, 1980.  
	She is survived by a son and his wife of Sloan; two daughters and sons-
in-law, eleven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Archie and a 
son, Lauren.
