	Anna Christina McShannon, Soldier, Iowa, passed away April 30, 1983, 
at Burgess Memorial Hospital at Onawa, Iowa.
	She was born December 17, 1887, at Panama, Iowa, to Chris and Mary 
Christensen.  On October 7, 1913, she was united in marriage with William 
McShannon at Onawa, Iowa.  He preceded her in death on January 30, 1970
        Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Hersel (Jeanette) Hanson and 
Mrs. Omar (Mary Ann) Nelson, both of Soldier, Iowa, and Mrs. Lester (Florence) 
Saxon, Sherman, Texas, three sisters, Nina McMinimee, Denison, Iowa, Mrs. 
(Blanche) Anderson, Sloan, Iowa, and Bessie Curnes, Winterset, Iowa, six 
grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, John 
in World War II, and Donald as an infant, two brothers, and two sisters.
