	Cecil Meadows, 80, of Ute, died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1993, at the Onawa 
hospital.
	
	Mr. Meadows was born June 1, 1912, in Soldier, Iowa, son of William 
and Jenny (Brawley) Meadows.  He married Dolores Nelson Feb. 18,, 1932, at 
Dakota City, Neb.  Mrs. Meadows died July 19, 1979.  
	He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Ute.
	Survivors include five sons and three daughters-in-law, Ronald and 
Eileen of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Kenneth of San Antonio, Texas, Timothy of 
Whiting, Iowa, Denis and Angela of Tucson and Philip and Nancy of Moorhead, 
Iowa; a daughter and her husband, Kay and James Gregerson of Ute; a brother 
and his wife, Launie and Mabel of Onawa; two sisters, Mae Jerup of Chicago and 
Effie Olson at the Dunlap (Iowa) Care Center; 21 grandchildren and 18 great-
grandchildren.
	In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters, 
four brothers and a grandson, Denis Jr.
