	Merle Dehn Mock, Onawa, Iowa, died at his home in Onawa on Wednesday, 
April 26, 1989.
	He was born at Onawa on July 19, 1912, then son of J. Lloyd and Anna 
(Dehn) Mock.    On June 9, 1941 he married Evelyn Jeanette Thoreson of 
Soldier, Iowa, at Blair, Neb.
	Survivors include his wife, Evelyn, of Onawa, one son, John and his 
wife, Jacquie, of Mondamin, Iowa, two granddaughters  and three sisters, Mrs. 
Fern Murray of Ft. Myers, Fla., Mrs. Marge Reed of Onawa, and Mrs. Leo 
(Maxine) Chaffin of Banning, Calif.
	He was preceded in death by his parents.
