MRS. CLARA MORDHORST             (From the collection of Vivian Norby Andersen)

	Mrs. Clara L. Mordhorst, 92, of Ute died Tuesday, July 6, 1982 in a 
nursing home at Denison of a long illness.
	
	Mrs. Mordhorst, the former Clara Johnson, was born January 23, 1890 to 
Johan and Karen (Christian) Johnson near Ute, IA.
	She married William Mordhorst December 20, 1916, at Ute.  He died in 
1936.
        Survivors include one daughter of Holstein; one son of Denison, nine 
grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, eight 
brothers and four sisters.
