Herbert Mordhorst						1993

	Herbert Mordhorst, the son of John and Caroline (Fester) Mordhorst, 
was born March 7, 1908, on a farm south of Ute, Iowa.Herb married Helen 
Britton August 17, 1930 at Ute.  
	Survivors include his wife, Helen; two sons and their wives, all of 
Ute; one daughter and her husband of Charlotte, NC, one sister and her 
husband, Irene and Johannes Petersen of Ute; eleven grandchildren; twelve 
great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
	Herb was preceded in death by his parents; and a granddaughter.
	He died on March 8, 1993, at Onawa, Iowa at the age of 85 years and 1 
day.
