	Ruth L. Johnson, 59, Onawa, Iowa died Sunday, January 19, 2003 at a 
Sioux City hospital.
	Ruth was born June 28, 1943 at Onawa, Iowa, the daughter of George and 
Josephine (Larson) Clapper.  She married Robert Mortenson.
	Survivors include four sons, Jeff Mortenson of Onawa, Michael and his 
wife, Carolyn Mortenson of Sioux City, Danny Mortenson and Richard Klein and 
his special friend Tonya of Kingsley, IA; two daughters, Jennifer Klein of 
Onawa and Tammy Klein; three grandchildren; two sisters, Georgia Martin and 
Norma Wilder both of Onawa and a brother Jim Clapper of Worthington, MN.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Doris Schafer, and 
a brother, George Jr.
