Eli Myrland                                (From the collection of Vivian 
Norby Andersen)

	Eli C. Myrland, Onawa, died November 16, 1985, at the age of 93 years 
at the Westview Care Center in Indianola, Iowa.
	He was born in LaCrosse, Wis., on June 5, 1892, the son of Eli P. 
Myrland and Julia Nessa Myrland.  He married Gertrude Blewett August 3, 1927, 
in Lead, S.D.  She died November 13, 1963, in Sioux City.
	He married Gladys Martin February 22, 1968, at Nashua.  She died April 
23, 1983, in Onawa.
	
	Survivors include his daughter of Indianola; three brothers, Ervin of 
Whiting, Lester and Glen, both of Onawa; and two grandchildren, both of 
Indianola.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Cecelia 
Myrland.
