WINIFRED NATHLICH                   (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Winifred Adelbert Nathlich, the son of William and Nora Palmer 
Nathlich was born January 8, 1901 near Ute, Iowa.  He died March 27, 1978 at 
Mapleton, IA.
	He married Lorena Kragel on March 2, 1922 at Mapleton.  One daughter 
and two sons were born to this marriage.
	
	Survivors include his wife, Lorena of Mapleton, one daughter, two 
sons; eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren; three brothers, 
Gerald of Mapleton, Clifford and Charles both of Sioux City, Iowa; two 
sisters, Mrs. Beulah Hafitts of Sioux City and Mrs. Bernice Schierholtz of Des 
Moines.
	He was preceded in death by his parents and one great-grandson.
