	Lorena M. Nathlich, age 92, of Mapleton, died Wednesday, May 30, 1990, 
at the Maple Heights Nursing Home in Mapleton.
	Mrs. Nathlich, the former Lorena Kragel was born March 11, 1898 to 
Fredrick and Christina (Kruse) Kragel at Mapleton, Iowa  She was united in 
marriage to Winfield Nathlich on March 2, 1922 at Mapleton.   Her husband died 
March 17, 1978.
	She was preceded in death by her husband; a great-grandson, Keith 
Dose; a sister, Anna Scheer Detlefs and four brothers, William, Fritz, Harry 
and Elmer.
	Survivors include two sons and their wives, Irvin and Margaret of Mt. 
Vernon, Illinois and Orville and Marge of Anthon; a daughter and her husband, 
Marceil and Stanley Frydenlund of Soldier; eight grandchildren; 11 great-
grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
