    Oscar Navrude, 85, Onawa, died on Sunday, September 1, 1985 in Onawa, IA.
    He was born at Soldier, on May 23, 1900, the son of Swen and Soffie 
Soffebroten Navrude. He married Hazel Evenson March 17, 1926, at Soldier. To 
this union were born four children.  He married Adelia Jane Bolles March 11, 
1962 at Sioux City.
    
    Survivors include his wife, Adelia, two sons, two step-daughters, Mrs. 
Lavern (Onamae) Goettsch of Holstein and another  of Sioux City; three 
stepsons, Clyde Bolles, and two other stepsons, all of Sioux City, eight 
grandchildren, seventeen step-grandchildren and twenty-one step great 
grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Evonne, an infant son; 
three brothers, Sigard, Alvin and Andrew; and three sisters, Emma, Inga and 
Hannah.
