	Dale Henry Nelson of Ute, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 
1988.  
	He was born on October 12, 1933, at Castana, Iowa, the son of Henry 
and Axie (Barnes) Nelson.  On February 10, 1956, he married Darlene Petersen 
at Dow City, Iowa. 
	Survivors include his wife, Darlene of Ute, Iowa; two sons, Dan of 
Lincoln, Nebraska, and Dennis and his wife, Suelinn of Sioux City, Iowa; a 
daughter, Mrs. Cecil (Debbie) Vann of Wayne, Nebraska; one grandson and his 
parents-in-law, Elmer and Bertha Petersen of Ute, Iowa.
	He was preceded in death by his parents.
