	Kenneth A. Nielsen, 68, died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 1989, in Sioux City, IA
	Mr. Nielsen was born July 22, 1921, in Moorhead, Iowa, son of Thorvald 
and Martina Nielsen.   He married Ellen Bromander May 11, 1943, in Chicago.  
She died Sept. 19, 1983, in Kansas City, Mo.  He married Margaret Jahn May 19, 
1984, in Kansas City, Mo.
	Survivors include his wife, Margaret; two daughters, Pamella Muirheid 
of Helena, Mont., and Katherine Buchman of Missoula, Mont.; a brother, Oscar 
Nielsen of Mahnomen, Minn.; a sister, Kathryn Nutt of Sioux City; a stepson, 
Dr. Jerald Jahn of Gainsville, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Barbara Chase of 
Atlantic, Iowa, and four grandchildren.
