JOHNNIE C. NORBY                      (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Johnnie C. Norby, a lifetime resident of the Soldier, Iowa community, 
passed away at the Burgess Memorial Hospital Friday, Dec. 25, 1971.  He was 
born August 5, 1892 in Sioux 
City, Iowa.
	
	On March 15, 1933, he was united in marriage to Clara Johnson at Elk 
Point, S. D.  To this union one son, Clark Norman Norby, was born and died in 
infancy.
	
	Survivors are his wife, Clara and a number of cousins.
