JULIA NETTIE NORBY                      (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Julia Nettie Norby was born on May 27, 1885 near Soldier, Iowa, the 
daughter of Ole K. and Anna M. Nelson.  She passed from this life on June 6, 
1972 at the Cherry Lawn Nursing Home in Sioux City 
	  On April 3, 1907 she was united in marriage with Ole C. Norby at 
Onawa, Iowa.  He preceded her in death on December 6, 1948 
	Survivors include her two daughters; Mrs. Lyle (Alice) Riley of 
Moorcroft, Wyo. and Delia Norby of Onawa, Iowa; two sons, Clay Norby of 
Soldier, Iowa and Glen Norby of South Sioux City, Neb.  There are seven 
grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her 
husband, her parents, three sisters and one brother.
