Mrs. Ella Nordaker                    (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Mrs. Ella C. Nordaker, Soldier, Iowa, died on September 22, 1984, at 
the Elmwood Nursing Home in Onawa, Iowa.
	The former Ella Berg was born January 26, 1893, at Moorhead, Iowa, the 
daughter of Sever and Belle Peterson Berg.  She married John B. Nordaker 
November 24, 1910, in the Soldier Country Church.  Mr. Nordaker died January 
21, 1964 at Soldier.
	
	Survivors include her son, Milford Nordaker of Ute, Iowa; four 
daughters, Miss Frances Nordaker, of Onawa, Mrs. Elvin (Norma) Heistand of 
Soldier, Audrey Androy of Missouri Valley, and Mrs. LeRoy (Bernice) Mummert of 
Oroville, Calif., two sisters, Mrs. Aubrey (Tessie) Lester of Interior, S.D., 
and Mrs. Johanna Kelley of Danbury, Iowa, eleven grandchildren, twenty-eight 
great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in 
death by her parents, her husband, a son, Howard, a daughter, Mrs. Lyle 
(Cleone) Waples, five grandchildren, a brother and four sisters.
