	Milford Vernon Nordaker was born May 27, 1915 to John and Ella (Berg) 
Nordaker in Soldier Township.  He died on Sunday, October 16, 1994, at Burgess 
Memorial Hospital in Onawa at the age of 79 years.
	 On April 6,1940, he married Marcella Gibbs in Onawa.  
	Survivors include his wife, Marcella; a son and his wife, Lester and 
Pat Nordaker of Soldier, a daughter and her husband, Myrna and Jim Longlee of 
Soldier, three sisters, Audrey Androy of Missouri Valley, Iowa, Burnice and 
her husband Roy Mummert of Oroville, CA, and Norma and her husband, Elvin 
Heistand of Soldier; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; three step 
grandchildren; and thirteen great step-grandchildren.
	Milford was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters a brother 
and a step grandson.
