Alvin C. O’Connor		 (From the collection of Vivian Norby Andersen)

	Alvin C. O’Connor, 92, of Mapleton died Friday, December 24, 1982 in a 
Sioux City hospital.
	
	Mr. O’Connor was born April 30, 1890 to Perry O’Connor and Dora Ellen 
Zediker in Cooper Township near Mapleton.
	He married Ethel Fritz September 29, 1910, in Onawa.  
	He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Garnet, one 
brother, two sisters and four grandchildren.
	Survivors include his wife; three sons; five daughters; 27 
grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
