Oldham, a resident of Soldier, Iowa since 1917, passed away in his home in Soldier on December 9, 1976, He was born September 15, 1898 at Eddyville, Iowa; the son of Fred and Cora Chitwood Oldham. He was united in marriage to Mabel Northrop on September 17, 1919 at Onawa, Iowa. She preceded him in death on September 6, 1963. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Betty) Gorham of Soldier, Iowa; a son of Spartanburg, So. Carolina; five grandchildren and two great- grandchildren; one brother, Paul Oldham of Waterloo, Nebr.; three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Lancaster of Long Beach, California; Mrs. P. B. (Mildred) Winslow of Omaha, Nebraska, and Mrs. George (Lois) Howard of Oskaloosa, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three brothers and two sisters.
