	Selma D. Olson, 92, of Hammond, Ind., formerly of Soldier, died 
February 9, 1987, in a nursing home in Munster, Ind.
	She was born November 17, 1894, in Moorhead to Christian and Adeline 
(Severson) Benson.  On August 9, 1922, she married Otto Olson at Yankton, 
S.D.   Mr. Olson died December 7, 1961, in Council Bluffs.  
	Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Jean Evett of Highland, Ind., one 
brother, Ernest Benson of Post Falls, Idaho, three sisters, Mrs. Delia Snow 
and Mrs. Sol (Clara) Schnek, both of Yankton, S.D., and Mrs. Wynne Peed of 
Branson, Mo., seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
