          Lloyd Arnold Olson, 86, of Ute died Monday, Feb. 10, 1997, at the 
Maple Heights Nursing Home in Mapleton, Iowa.
	
	Mr. Olson was born Feb. 25, 1910, in Soldier, the son of Carl and 
Gertrude (Seaton) Olson.  
	He married Rachel Lorraine Carter on June 17, 1939, in Mapleton.  
	
	Survivors include his wife and a sister, Opal Sheehan of Sioux City.
	He was preceded in death by a brother, Glen, and a sister, Gay Quade.
