Amund Olson Dies
At Harrisburg                            (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Amund Olson, 76, of Harrisburg, South Dakota, a resident of the 
Soldier community many years ago, passed away at his home early Wednesday 
morning, March 23.  He had been ill for several months.
	At this time funeral arrangements had not been made.
	Amund was one of twelve children born to Arne and Dorthea Olson, who 
farmed in the Soldier community most of their lives.
	Surviving besides the widow, are three children, Mavis (Mrs. Bill 
Taylor) of Sioux Falls, Vernon of Harrisburg, S. D. and Arnold of Los Banos, 
Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Inga Hines of Soldier, Mrs. Tena Murray of Sioux 
City and Mrs. Dena Outhouse of Woodbine and four brothers, Ingvald Olson of 
Turin, Olaf T. Olson and Art Olson of Soldier and Ole Olson of Osceola, 
Missouri.
	A complete obituary will be given next week.
