EDWIN L. OLSON                        (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Edwin Lorenzo Olson of Onawa, Iowa passed away at Burgess Memorial 
Hospital in Onawa on January 2, 1974.  He was born at Albaton, Iowa on 
February 1, 1883, the son of Martin and Clara Amundson Olson.
      On February 26, 1908 he was united in marriage with Olive C. Rude at 
Albaton, IA.    Mrs. Olson preceded him in death in 1970.  
	He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Clifford (Evelyn) Coombs of 
Onawa, one son, Melvin Olson of Soldier, Iowa and one brother, Harold Olson of 
Sioux City.  There are seven grandchildren and twenty one great 
grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, eight 
brothers and sisters.
