MABEL OLSON                             (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Mabel Olson of Moorhead died September 15, 1975 in the Maple Heights 
Nursing Home, Mapleton, Iowa after a long illness. 
	Mabel was born in Monona County, Iowa on March 19, 1890.  She was the 
daughter of Herman Kalskett and Mary Louise Gilbertson Kalskett.  She 
married   Ed. A. Olson on March 4, 1914 at Soldier.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, three sisters, 
and her husband, Edward, on July 8, 1963.
	She leaves to mourn her passing four children, Mrs. E. W. (Eleanor) 
McCall, Moorhead, Leo of Aurora, Ore., Elliott of Elk Grove, Calif., and 
Maynard of Soldier, eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, six 
sisters, Mrs. Robert (Augusta) McLachlan of Denver, Colo., Maryann Christensen 
of Ames, Iowa, Mrs. Jens (Hazel) Johnson of Belmond, Iowa, Mrs. Soren (Millie) 
Sorensen of Onawa, Iowa, Mrs. Helen Byg, Aurora, Colo., and Miss Nell Kalskett 
of Moorhead, one brother, Martin of Moorhead and many nieces, nephews and a 
host of friends.
