	Jessie Carlson Olsen, 94,died Wednesday, May 15, 1991, at Elmwood 
Nursing Home in Onawa.
	She was born December 12, 1896, in Moorhead, the daughter of Olaf and 
Clara (Lee) Carlson.   She married Herman J. Olsen February 21, 1920, in White 
Bear Lake, Minnesota.  He died December 15, 1950, in Onawa.
	
	She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Mary Lee and Richard 
Strang of Des Moines, a sister, Edna C. Gord of Davenport, and a grandson, 
James Strang of St. Louis, MO.
	She was preceded in death by her husband, an infant son, two brothers, 
Oscar and Ernel and one sister, Mabel.
