    Walter H. Ordway Sr., 88, of Soldier died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 1990, in a 
Sioux City hospital after complications of pneumonia.
	Mr. Ordway was born June 30, 1901, in Ute.  On May 17, 1942, he 
married Mary Alice McGinnis in Inglewood, Calif.  
	Survivors include his wife, Mary; a son, Walter Jr. of Soldier, and a 
brother, Laird of Ontario, Calif.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Sadie Mae Ordway; 
two brothers, Suel B. and Warren Theodore and a sister, Mary Elizabeth.
