	 Earl A. Otto, 74, of Mapleton, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 1991, at a 
Sioux City hospital.
	
	Mr. Otto was born April 17, 1916, near Mapleton, son of Walter and 
Katherine (Treiber) Otto.  He married Ruby May Pry on May 26, 1937, at 
Moville.  
	
	Survivors include his wife; a daughter and son-in-law, Sara and Joseph 
Tarchie of Manassas, Va.; a son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Linda Otto of 
Danbury; and three granddaughters, Diane Marie Tarchie of Manassas and Melissa 
and Rebecca Otto of Danbury.
	He was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence, and a sister, Minnie 
Uhl.
