	Lena Eva Parr, 72, Onawa, Iowa, died Thursday, May 7, 1992, at Burgess 
Memorial Hospital, Onawa, Iowa.
	She was born October 1, 1919, near Castana, Iowa, to Thomas and Agnes 
(Brown) Anderson.   On November 20, 1939, she married Gene Parr at Hartington, 
NE.    Mr. Parr died April 2, 1988, at Onawa.  
	Survivors include three sons, Richard and his wife, Peggy, of Blencoe, 
Lyle of Little Sioux, and Lynn “Short” and his wife, Eva, of Ute, three 
brothers and their wives, Thomas Lyle and Mary Anderson of Missouri Valley, 
Dick and Ruth Anderson of Onawa, and Jim and June Anderson of Coeur d’Alene, 
Idaho, two sisters and their husbands, Nadean and August Meyer of Mapleton, 
Iowa, and Opal and Alfred Downs of Long Beach, CA, ten grandchildren, five 
great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and three 
sisters, Sylvia Harsh and two infant sisters.
