Mrs. Mary C. Paseka                      (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Mrs. Mary C. Paseka, 88, of Onawa, Iowa, died on February 18, 1985, at 
Elmwood Nursing Home following a long illness.  She had resided at Elmwood the 
past four years.	
	The former Mary Catherine Schultz was born January 31, 1897, at Plasi, 
Nebraska, the daughter of John and Margaret Hynek Schultz.  She married Lewis 
M. Paseka on January 26, 1915, at Plasi, NE.
        Mr. Paseka died August 22, 1967, at Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
	Survivors include two sons, Anton of Missouri Valley, Iowa, and 
Richard of Onawa; three daughters, Mrs. John (Lillian) Stanislav of Onawa, Ms. 
Mary Ann Harrigan of Fort Dodge and Mrs. Eugene (Margaret) Wittmersehouse of 
Colon, Nebraska; one brother, Anton Schultz of Loveland, Colorado; one sister, 
Mrs. Agnes Woita of Wahoo, Nebraska; nine grandchildren and 16 great 
grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one 
son, James, three brothers and one sister.
