LENA A. PETERSON                 (From the collection of Vivian Norby Andersen)

	Lena A. Peterson, a lifetime resident of the Soldier, Iowa community 
passed away on Friday August 3, 1973 after several weeks illness.  She was 
born September 13, 1880 at Soldier.  
	Mrs. Peterson was a daughter of Andrew and Jennie Swenson.  She was 
united in marriage to Ole Peterson on March 7, 1906 at Soldier.  He passed 
away on August 28, 1963.
	
	Survivors include her daughters, Mrs. Ivan (Gilma) Gibbs of Ute, 
Iowa;  one grandson,, two grandchildren,  one brother, Adolph Swenson, 
Soldier, three sisters, Mrs. Josie Foss, Glenwood, Minn., Mrs. Grace Carritt, 
Soldier, Iowa and Mrs. Guy (Gunda) Harris of Soldier.
	She was preceded in death by son, Adolph, two daughters, Gilma and 
Bernice, one brother and three sisters.
