	Kermit L. Ravnsborg, 84, of Turin, Iowa, died Thursday, January 22, 
1998, at Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa.
	Mr. Ravnsborg was born November 18, 1913, on the family farm near 
Turin, the fourth son of Rasmus and Clara (Hansen) Ravnsborg.    He married 
Vivian Peterson on November 9, 1940, at Onawa.  
	 
	Survivors include his wife, Vivian of Turin; two sons and their wives, 
Jerry and Carol Ravnsborg of Bennington, NE and Richard and Jeanne Ravnsborg 
of Quimby, IA; two daughters and their husbands, Kathleen and Bill Kruse of 
Council Bluffs and Elaine and Roger Ingebritson of Supper Marlboro, and nine 
grandchildren
	He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Ernest, Harold 
and Clarence.
