BERT ALVIN REED		(From the collection of Vivian Norby Andersen)

	Bert Alvin Reed, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Reed, was born on a farm 
near Blue Lake on August 6, 1901, and passed away October 22, 1973.
	
	He was united in marriage to Margaret Mock at Sioux City, Iowa and to 
this union one child was born.
	He is survived by his widow, Margaret, one son, a granddaughter, four 
brothers Everett of Whiting, Iowa, Frank of West Los Angeles, Calif., George 
of Whittier, Calif. and Lyle Brown of Venice, Calif. two sisters, Mrs. Floyd 
(Eva) Davis and Mrs. Celia Miller of Onawa.  He was preceded in death by his 
parents.
