	C. Leone DeLashmutt Reed, 86, of Onawa, Iowa, died Monday, July 17, 
1995, at Burgess Memorial hospital in Onawa.
	She was born November 23, 1909, near Onawa, the daughter of W. C. and 
Kitty Faye (Polly) DeLashmutt.   She married Everett Reed of Onawa, February 
27, 1929, at Whiting.   He died July 12, 1983, at Onawa.

	Survivors include five daughters and their husbands, Katherine Alice 
and Vincent Willey of Onawa, Jeanne Delores and Carroll Johnson of Moorhead, 
Eva Colleen and Dale Malmberg of Norfolk, NE, Shirley Leone and Lee Jensen of 
Storm Lake and Donna Clare and Carleton Ball of Blair, NE; twenty-one 
grandchildren, fifty-two great grandchildren, and a sister, Gwen Younger 
Sorenson of Onawa.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; a sister, 
Lucille Flynn; two brothers, Gerald in infancy and Harper DeLashmutt, and a 
son-in-law, Jack Carlson.
	Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 20, 1995, at the First 
Christian Church in Onawa 
	Interment was in the Onawa Cemetery, Onawa, Iowa, with arrangements by 
the Pearson Funeral Home, Onawa.
