	Donald Reese, 81, of Turin, Iowa, died Thursday, March 12, 1998, at 
Elmwood Care Centre in Onawa.
	Don was born May 14, 1916, on the Reese Homestead north of Turin.
	 On October 26, 1946, he married Luella Sprague Zahrt in Iowa.  She 
was  a war widow with two children. 
	
	Survivors include his wife, Luella; a son and his wife, David and 
Linda Zahrt of Turin; three daughters and their husbands, Christy Tews and Ron 
Sutton of Carson City, NV, Jo and Wayne Nelson of Toronto, Ontario, and Karen 
and Warren Bird of Berkeley, CA; six grandchildren; seven cousins.
	He was preceded in death by his parents.
