	Vern Rounds, died on December 7, 1989,  in Sioux City, Iowa. 
	He was born July 22, 1916, in Onawa, the son of Verne and Salemna 
(Queen) Rounds.    On June 25, 1939, he married Eva E. Rounsborg in  rural 
Turin, Iowa.  
	Survivors include his wife, Eva, Onawa, two daughters, Bonita and her 
husband, Alvin E. Granite of Woodbury, N.J., and Kathryn and her husband, John 
C. Johnston, Moville, Iowa, six grandchildren,  and two great-grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Elizabeth Sue.
