Olga Rude                           (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Olga Rude, 84, Soldier, Iowa, passed away April 11, 1985, at Elmwood 
Nursing Home, Onawa, Iowa.
	She was born April 6, 1901, at Soldier, Iowa, to Hans and Anna 
(Peterson) Larson.  On September 22, 1920, she was united in marriage to 
Conrad Rude at Soldier.  He died May 15, 1962, in Sioux City, Iowa.  
	
	Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Bennie (Anna Marie) Romsdahl of 
Sioux Falls, S.D., Mrs. Cleon (Helen) Swain of Fort Collins, Colo., Mrs. Floyd 
(LaVonne) Leaver of Sioux City, and one daughter  of Castana, two sons, Wilbur 
and Clayton, both of Ute, twenty-five grandchildren, thirty-eight great 
grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Conrad, two 
brothers, two grandchildren, and a great grandchild.
