    Betty Jane Sandvold, 75, of Soldier, Iowa died Tuesday, March 2, 1999 at 
her residence.

	Mrs. Sandvold was born November 13, 1923, in Soldier, the daughter of 
Lynn J. and Grace (Swenson) Carritt. 

She married Claire Sandvold on June 29, 1946, in Sioux City, Iowa. 


Survivors include her husband; a son and his wife, Charles and Ellen of 
Soldier; a daughter and her husband, Rita and Lawrence “Babe” Kohlscheen of 
Avoca, Iowa; a sister and her husband, Vivian and Olaf Sandvold of Moorhead, 
Iowa; two brothers, Lyle Carritt of Soldier and Gordon and his wife Lillian 
Carritt of Ute, Iowa; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
