	H. L. “Pete” Sankey passed away June 17, 1993 in Onawa, IA.
	Henry Leonard “Pete” Sankey was born July 3, 1903, on a farm north of 
Ute, the son of Nels and Amanda (Bostic) Sankey.  He married Goldie Bresler on 
November 14,1926 at Ute
	
	Survivors include his wife, Goldie; one daughter and her husband, 
Shirley and Harlan Theobald of Ute; four grandchildren and six great 
grandchildren.
	Pete was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Sherwin; a 
granddaughter, Anita; two brothers and two sisters.
