	Arlene F. Schelm, 80, of Ute, Iowa died on Tuesday, November 28, 1995  
in Lincoln, NE.
	She was born on October 21, 1915 at Galva, Iowa the daughter of James 
and Anna (Berg) Roach.  
	She married Ed Schelm on May 25, 1934 at Vermillion, SD.  
	
	Survivors include her husband Ed of Ute; one daughter Marilyn 
Bretthauer of Ute; one son Ed “Buzz” Schelm, Jr. of Ute; nine grandchildren; 
thirteen  great grandchildren; one brother James of Mapleton and one sister 
Merlyn Berg of Eugene, OR.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
