	Ella S. Schlensig, 75, Soldier, Iowa, died Tuesday, June 26, 1990, in 
Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa, Iowa.
	She was born March 14, 1915, rural Moorhead, Iowa, the daughter of 
Oscar and Christina (Lundberg) Melby.  She married Harry H. Schlensig on 
August 28, 1943, in Dakota City, Neb.   Mr. Schlensig died January 2, 1989, in 
Marshalltown.
	Survivors include two daughters, Jane Kiepe and Linda Schlensig, both 
of Soldier, two grandchildren, Kim and her husband, Alan Buschmann of Charter 
Oak, and Rusty Gosch and his wife, Nancy of Moorhead, three great 
grandchildren, Justin, Jeremy and Brittany, and two brothers, Clark Melby of 
Dunlap and Wilbur Melby of Pisgah.
	She was preceded in death by a sister, Olga and five brothers, Harry, 
Robert, Norman, Earl and Raymond.
