MRS. ERNEST SEATON                     (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Gertrude C. Seaton of LaPorte, Indiana, passed away at the age of 70 
years in Lafayette, Ind., on Sunday, February 27, 1972.
	She was born on January 8, 1902, the daughter of Henry and Julie 
Gibbel in Sioux City, Iowa.  On June 7, 1922 she was united in marriage to 
Ernest E. Seaton at Onawa, Iowa.  
	
	Survivors include her husband, Ernest E. Seaton of LaPorte; two 
daughters; three sons; one sister, Mrs. Jessie Petersen of Chicago, Ill.; 15 
grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
