Ernest Seaton                                    (From the collection of 
Vivian Norby Andersen)

	Ernest E. Seaton, 85, Atchison, Kan., formerly of Soldier, Iowa, 
passed away October 19, 1983, at Atchison, Kan.
	He was born March 12, 1898, near Moorhead, Iowa, to Charles and Nancy 
Crabb Seaton.  On June 7, 1922, he was united in marriage to Gertrude C. 
Gibbel at Onawa, Iowa.  She died February 27, 1972.  He is survived by three 
sons, two daughters, fifteen grandchildren and twelve grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, six sisters, and 
four brothers.
