SEVERSON         [picture]	        (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Irvin A. Severson, 88, Onawa, Iowa, formerly of Soldier, Iowa, passed 
away August 11, 1982, in the hospital at Onawa.
	He was born April 8, 1894, on a farm near Soldier, to Simon E. 
Severson and Julia Benson Severson.
	Survivors include one brother, William Raymond Severson, Santa Monica, 
Calif., two sisters, Mrs. Lester F. (Gladyce) Seehusen, Onawa, and Mrs. Paul 
(Elvira) Krause, Sioux City, Iowa; and one niece, Mrs. Roger (Ramona) 
Christensen of Sioux City, Iowa.
	He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Ann Boyce, and 
two sisters who died in infancy.
