	Leonard Floyd Shipley the son of George and Ella (Estep) Shipley was 
born August 19, 1899 at Battle Creek.  He married Goldie Thompson July 15, 
1922, at Lake View, Iowa.    Floyd Shipley died Monday, March 9, 1987 at 
Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa.
	 Survivors include his wife, Goldie, a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Hanson of 
Ute, three sons, Glenn of Orange, Calif., Ned of Omaha, Neb., and Eugene of 
San Jose, Calif., two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Mahler of Ute and Mrs. Madge 
Dorscher of Fort Alton Beach, Fla., thirteen grandchildren, and nine great 
grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, one 
sister, and one great granddaughter.
