	Carl Walter Simpson, Jr., Onawa, Iowa, passed away  on Tuesday, April 
7, 1987. 
	He was born at Viborg, S.D. on August 24, 1925, the son of Carl Walter 
Simpson and Anna Marie (Johnson) Simpson
	Survivors include his wife, Lillian, of Onawa, five sons, Dennis and 
Doug, both of Onawa, Mike of Whiting, Roger of Long Beach, Calif., and Jim of 
Des Moines, two daughters, Sandy of Onawa and Mrs. Nancy Jenkins of Sioux 
City, his mother, Anna Simpson of Castana, two brothers, LaVerne of Whiting, 
and Eugene of Omaha, two sisters, Norman Miller of Castana and Mrs. Jack 
(Ramona) Graham of Sioux City and nine grandchildren.  He was preceded in 
death by his father and one brother, Kenneth.
